Questo è uno dei temi che ha tenuto banco, a Strasburgo, durante la sessione plenaria del Parlamento europeo, grazie ad una conferenza stampa promossa dall'onorevole della Lega Nord Giancarlo Scottà, membro della Commissione per l'Agricoltura e lo sviluppo rurale, in collaborazione con l'eurodeputata Veronique Mathieu, la Federazione italiana della Caccia (FACE), l'associazione Bird Life Europe, il WWF, l'organizzazione europea dei proprietari terrieri (ELO) e diversi rappresentanti della Commissione europea.
