A damning report by PriceWaterhouseCoopers was presented to the European Parliament today that outlined the abject failure of the European Institutions in their duty of care towards whistleblowers.

"The plans for a new Gaza flotilla, with the aim to break the naval blockade of Gaza, that is in the midst of being prepared by a group of activists and pro-Palestinian NGOs, is clearly an act of political provocation, not a way to bring aid to Gaza" declared Mr. Fiorello Provera, Vice-chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, on behalf of the Lega Nord delegation in the European Parliament.

The Danish People's Party has, together with the Danish government, agreed to reestablish permanent border control at entry points to Denmark. However, inspection will not be carried out by the police, but by customs officers who will perform a visual and electronic inspection of cars and persons entering Denmark. Inspection at sea will also be strengthened.
